Dr. K. L. Dhingra began his distinguished career as a Probationary Officer in a Public Sector Bank and progressed through various leadership roles, later serving as Chairman and Managing Director of a Financial Institution.

He also served as Director (CEO) of the National Institute of Bank Management (NIBM), an apex institution established in 1969 by the Reserve Bank of India, State Bank of India, and other Public Sector Banks. NIBM is engaged in the training and development of officers in the Banking and Financial Services sector and offers a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) in Banking and Financial Services, approved by AICTE. During his tenure, Dr. Dhingra also served as Member Secretary of the Governing Board of NIBM, chaired by The Governor, Reserve Bank of India.

Prior to this, Dr. Dhingra served as Chairman and Managing Director of HUDCO, a financial institution established by the Government of India.

Dr. K. L. Dhingra has served as Vice-Chairman of the Standing Conference of Public Enterprises (SCOPE) and as Chairman of its Finance Committee for six years. He was elected to these positions by the Chairmen and Managing Directors of member Public Sector Enterprises, reflecting the confidence of his peers.

Dr. Neelam Dhingra brings over 37 years of outstanding service in a leading Public Sector Bank. During her career, she has held several senior leadership roles, including Branch Manager, Senior Manager, Chief Manager, and Assistant General Manager. She has headed large and extra-large branches across the country and served as Assistant General Manager at the Bank’s Mumbai and Bengaluru Regional Offices, where she supervised and monitored a substantial network of branches with significant business volumes. Her professional excellence has been recognized through multiple awards across diverse functional areas.

Both Dr. K. L. Dhingra and Dr. Neelam Dhingra have strong and meritorious academic backgrounds. The family places a high value on education, with members having successfully qualified in several prestigious competitive examinations, including Bank PO, CDS, GRE, TOEFL, CAT, and GMAT.

About Dr. KL Dhingra

Dr. K. L. Dhingra is a distinguished banking and finance professional with an exceptional blend of academic excellence and senior leadership experience. He holds an MBA from the Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi, along with M.Com., LL.B. (Academic), PGDM, Ph.D., CAIIB, and ACIB (UK) qualifications.

He is a Fellow of the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance (Mumbai), Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers (Scotland), and Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia (FINSIA). He is among a very select group of professionals in India to have earned four Fellowships from leading Indian and international institutions in the field of banking and finance.

Dr. Dhingra began his career as a Probationary Officer with Dena Bank and rose to serve as Chairman and Managing Director of two Schedule ‘A’ Central Public Sector Enterprises. He also served as Chairman and Managing Director of Housing and Urban Development Corporation Ltd. (HUDCO), a premier all-India financial institution.

He was the Vice-Chairman of the Standing Conference of Public Enterprises (SCOPE)—the apex forum of Public Sector Enterprises in India—for a record six-year tenure, the longest in its history. A significant part of his career has been devoted to recoveries and resolution of stressed assets, and he is a Qualified Insolvency Professional registered with the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI).

About Dr. Neelam Dhingra

Dr. Neelam Dhingra has rendered 37 years of outstanding service in a Public Sector Bank, holding senior leadership positions including Branch Manager, Senior Manager, Chief Manager, and Assistant General Manager. She has successfully led large and extra-large branches across India.

She also served as Assistant General Manager at the Bank’s Mumbai and Bengaluru Regional Offices, where she supervised and monitored extensive branch networks handling substantial business volumes. Her contributions have been recognized through multiple awards for excellence across various functional areas.

An accomplished academic, Dr. Neelam Dhingra was a Rank Holder and District Topper in her B.A. examination. Her qualifications include M.A. (English), B.Ed., CAIIB, LL.B. (Academic), PGDM, MBA, and Ph.D. She secured First Rank in the Postgraduate Diploma in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations and passed the Debt Recovery Agent (DRA) Examination conducted by IIBF with 85% marks. She has also completed Certificate Courses in Insurance and Industrial Finance.

Mr. Ankur Dhingra
Global Banking Expert

Mr Ankur Dhingra is an alumni of IIT, Bombay and IIM, Ahmedabad.

He was admitted to all the six IIMs of the country in 2004, but he preferred to pursue M.B.A. from IIM, Ahmedabad – a top rated Business School India.

He was also selected for Singapore Airlines Scholarship for studying his B.E/B.Tech in National University of Singapore or Nanyang Technological University in the year 2000, but he chose to study for his B.Tech. in IIT, Bombay.

He got admission into six Universities of USA including Michigan University in the year 2000 on the basis of his GRE Score. On the basis of his GMAT score, he got admission into two top Universities of US in 2009 for his second M.B.A.

He has worked with JP Morgan Chase Bank in Singapore as Asia Head as well as Asia Pacific Head. Later, he has been Global Head looking after Forex Derivatives in JP Morgan Chase Bank in London.

He is now associated with a leading Hedge Fund in London.
